    My experience with IKS codes was deceiving and unfortunate. Like so many others, I was lured into getting myself involved with IKS codes and was misled with the idea of "Free" TV.

    Being unfamiliar with IKS codes, I was excited to think I could access and watch sports, movies, and other programming that I could not obtain through cable service. Looking back, I'd have to honestly say it was poor choice. The video service was the worst and I could not get it to work.

    In return for not getting any TV service, I received a letter from NagraStar informing me that the US Court determined that any involvement in the IKS code was deemed piracy. Rather than dealing with an expensive legal battle to profess my innocence in any wrong doing, I chose to reach a financial settlement with NagraStar. I contacted NagraStar and they were flexible and provided me a payment plan. I urge everyone who reads this to ignore any scheme that offers you free TV.
